SET in 1962, the Chandigarh Golf Club (CGC) has long been on the golf map of the country. Home to some of India’s finest golfers, including the reigning Asian Tour king of greens Jeev Milkha Singh, Harmeet Kahlon, Amandeep Johl, Gurbaaz Mann, Irina Brar and Parneeta Garewal, the club now also has its own website – www.chandigarhgolfclub.in – which makes it join the elite company of golf establishments across the globe. According to sources, the website became operational some days back and carries a plethora of information about the club. Confirming the development, the CGC secretary, Manpreet Singh Waraich, said having a website for the club was long due. “We are now among the chosen few clubs, which offer online information about various aspects of their setup,†he remarked.
