The faculty of Post-graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) has kept some of the essential demands in front of the Union health minister J P Nadda.

During the visit of minister in the state, the Union health secretary Mr. B P Sharma, PGI director Mr. Yogesh Chawla, PGI deputy director of administration Mr. Chetan P S Rao and other members of the association was present there in the annual convocation of the institute.

The demands includes the ample housing facility for the PGI faculty, proper door locking of the Operation Theaters, brittle conditions of the existing OT’s,  require the proper maintenance of houses for faculty and the air-conditioning for the OPD’s. However, the list of demands has been approved by Mr. Nadda which was kept by the PGIMER members and also informed the PGI to take the strict and quick actions towards the list provided to them.
