This is the proud moment for everyone part of SD college in sector-32 Chandigarh as it become the 3rd top college in India by NAAC to get A+ grade. Be it staffing members, students and other faculty member this is the time of celebration as SD College is the first college in region with an accreditation of A+ grade the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).
NAAC team visited SD College campus in Chandigarh on 30th, 31st January and evaluated results under the new grading system. The NAAC team announced the new grade for SD College from “A” to “A+” in a meeting held on 22nd February. On this achievement Principal Dr. Bhushan expressed his feelings by saying “There is a 37 points rise in the scores announced by NAAC team this year. “This won’t have been possible without the consistent efforts of the dedicated, qualified and learned faculty of SD College Chandigarh who are committed to academics, research, and student welfare,” he further added.
As per Dr. Bhushan Chandigarh’s SD college is completely ready to become an autonomous college of India, whereas the NAAC team also suggested SD College Chandigarh to start working towards an autonomous status.
