Lean manufacturing is a systematic approach for identifying and eliminating waste in operations through continuous improvement for doing everything more efficiently, optimizing the cost of operating the system and fulfilling the customers desire for maximum value at the lowest price. Many organizations have realized the capability of producing high quality products more economically even in lower volume and if half the time and space using just a fraction of the normal work in processes inventory.This session will cover important issues related to What, Why, When and How of LeanManufacturing and will address issues related to how to realize world class performance in Manufacturing and the other related business processes of the supply chains in order to reduce cost, improve quality, enhance delivery reliability and improve all round business with the help of various time tested problem solving tools and concepts including Lean, Kaizen, 5S, SMED, Flow Manufacturing, 7 QC Tools, VSM and others.
